This is just too…. It takes a lot but …. I am at loss for words.

LISTING DESCRIPTION:
A pair of white cotton towels which were formerly the property of John Lennon and Yoko Ono and were used in the Dakota building. One of the towels is printed with YOKO ONO, the other is printed with MIND TRAIN, both in black on a white background. The towels were given to the Lennons former housekeeper Rosaura Lopez Lorenzo. Rosaura worked for the Lennons at their apartment in The Dakota building, New York from 1973 to 1980. Her memoirs were published in a book entitled En casa de John Lennon (At John Lennons House) in 2005.

Each towel measures 56cm x 98cm (22 inches x 38.5 inches). The printed text on each towel has some fading, there is wear and discolouration to them due to use. The condition of the towels is good plus.

– A rare original promotional matchbook for the Plastic Ono Band. It features a colour image of Piccadilly Circus at night on one side and Plastic Ono Band is printed in gold on a black background on the other side.
The matchbook measures 5.5cm x 5.5cm (2.25 inches x 2.25 inches). There are no matches remaining in the book. The condition of the book is very good.

– One To One Concert Benefit Tambourine

A white metal tambourine which was given out at the One To One Benefit Concert held at Madison Square Gardens on the 30th August 1972 at which John and Yoko topped the bill. The concert was organised by John Lennon to raise funds for the Willowbrook School in New York. The tambourine is printed on the front with the words Fridays, Thursdays, Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Mondays.

– The tambourine measures 16.5 cm across (6.5 inches) x 3 cm (1.25 inches) deep. There is a little writing and a tiny scuff to the inside of the instrument. The condition of the tambourine is very good.

– Mal Evans John Lennon Elastic Oz Band 1971 God Save Oz Song Lyrics

An original sheet of printed lyrics to the John Lennon & Elastic Oz Band song God Save Oz. It was written in support of the defence fund during Oz magazines obscenity trial. This lyric sheet may have been used during the rehearsal for the recording of the track. Some corrections have been written on the sheet in black and blue pen in an unknown hand. The song is printed as follows:

The lyrics are from the estate of Mal Evans. Mal was road manager and assistant to The Beatles from 1963 until the groups break up in 1970, he continued to work for Apple until his unfortunate death in 1976.

The sheet of paper measures 20.25cm x 33cm (8 inches x 13 inches). There is a 3cm (1.25 inch) tear to the lower left edge. The sheet has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal fold lines, there is creasing throughout. The condition of the lyrics is good plus.
