The Art of John Lennon, a collaborative effort between Yoko Ono and Legacy Productions, will be on display this weekend in Corte Madera. The three-day installation will feature nearly 100 original, limited-edition drawings, lithographs, serigraphs and copper etchings created by Lennon.
You are going to be so surprised if you havent seen it because John actually was a very, very good artist, Ono said. You will see the stroke of an artist in every line, and also that his work has an incredible sense of humor.
The Art of John Lennon will be on display March 21-23 at the former J. Jill space at The Village at Corte Madera, 1546 Redwood Highway. Gallery hours are Friday, noon-8 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
There are no tickets or admission needed; a suggested $3 donation will be accepted at the door to benefit the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. For more information, call (888) 278-1969 or visit johnlennonartwork.com.
